This high build epoxy resin floor installation was a commercial car garage in Maidstone, Kent.
The commercial workshop floor had been neglected for years and was in a bad state. The workshop and MOT bay were open Monday to Friday 8am to 430pm and Saturdays until 1pm, so we had to carry out the install in phases around the workshop remaining operational.
- There was areas that needed extensive surface making good with epoxy mortars and grouts
- The floor needed to be heavily prepared by way of planetary diamond grinder
- We specified a three coat system consisting of an oil tolerant primer and two coats of high build epoxy coating incorporating aggregate for slip resistance.
